Marcel Kinsbourne, M.D. KinsbouM@newschool.edu
Brittany List O'Brien, M.A. firstname.lastname@example.org
We study the brain basis of cognition, perception, behavior, and interpersonal experience.
Current collaborative research projects open to students include:
Laterality and entrainment, the influence of culture on hemisphericity, autonomic nervous system activity in autistic and normal populations, and the broader autism phenotype.
More information about these projects and others can be seen in the lab members section.
STUDENTS CAN EXPECT
Thorough discussions around research design and execution, a supportive team approach, a gradual induction into independent work,
and constructive feedback from Dr. Kinsbourne and lab members.
Interested students should contact Dr. Kinsbourne or Brittany (info above) to arrange for an interview in which research goals and experience will be discussed.
All lab members will be required to be actively involved in a group lab study.
Our members are also asked to participate in two of our current studies. Click here for info and contacts: Projects and Studies
Participation as a subject provides a better understanding of the topics that we study.
